My name is Malika Jackson, and I am a senior at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I am 22 years old and an Elementary Education major. After graduation, I hope to go back to Chicago or move to Texas and teach 3rd grade. My dream job is to become a principal of an inner-city elementary or middle school. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember.
I am from Chicago, IL and went to DePaul University before transferring to Mizzou in the Fall of 2011. I have a mother that I love dearly and two little sisters named Maya (18) and Morga.n (15). I also have a goddaughter (4) named Mariah that is pictured in my above banner. I enjoy sleeping, hanging out with friends, and watching television. I live by two quotes. The first is "You must be the change you wish to see in the world" by Gandhi. The second is "Do what you feel in your heart to be right- for you'll be criticized anyways" by Eleanor Roosevelt.
